Training Hike @ Cave Creek Recreation Area
Grand CanyonOn Saturday June 5th Team Armstrong will be joining the Foundation for Blind Children’s canyon crawlers training hike, we will be training for the Grand Canyon with a large group of blind climbers.

John Trail at Cave Creek Recreation Area.
Length: 4.7 mi., 430 ft. elevation gain, moderate difficulty,
Hiking time: 3 hours
Total mileage 9.4miles, 6 hours
Directions: North I-17 and exit SR74, Carefree Highway. Drive east 6 mi. on SR74 to 32nd St. Turn north onto 32nd St and continue 1.5mi. to the Cave Creek Recreation Area. Pay entrance fee at gate and proceed 1.3mi. to Go John Trail head
